US: Municipal Grand, a 44-key boutique hotel, has opened in Savannah north Historic District.

Developed by hospitality company Midnight Auteur, the property is located in a six-storey 1960s-era building that previously housed the First Federal Savings and Loan Association.

Guestroom options range from queen rooms to king suites, with some rooms including outdoor patios with lounge seating. King rooms and suites are accessible and ADA compliant.

The hotel features interiors designed in a mid-century aesthetic, including a lobby with a crescent-shaped bar, curving wood banquettes, and contemporary art.

The lobby feature an all-day restaurant and an underground bar, The Hot Eye, is scheduled to open later this year.

Additional amenities include the Sun Club, a rooftop pool deck with lounge chairs and city views.
