Silken Hoteles expands portfolio with addition of Malaga property

Spain: Real estate advisor and broker Christie & Co has advised Silken Hoteles on the acquisition of Hotel Antequera Hills in Malaga.

The four-star hotel, which will now operate as Silken Antequera Hills, features 186 guest rooms and is located in the town of Antequera in southern Spain. Amenities include a restaurant and lobby bar, outdoor pool, three meeting rooms, and parking.

It marks the return of Silken Hoteles to Andalusia, with the hotel previously operated by GAT Hospitality.

Javier Villanueva, chief executive officer of Silken Hoteles, said: “We are delighted to re-establish our presence in a region with enormous potential, bringing in a property with distinctive features such as its focus on active tourism, its capacity to host events, and its excellent location for exploring inland Andalusia.”
