Europe/Middle East: Hospitality technology company PRISM has appointed Lia Prendergast as vice president of expansion for Europe and the Middle East.
Based in London, Prendergast will be responsible for expanding PRISM’s aparthotel and hotel portfolio across the region. She will lead growth initiatives that involve long-term lease agreements and acquisitions, while collaborating with the company’s senior leadership team.
Prendergast joins PRISM with experience in both hospitality and real estate. Most recently, she advised Bob W, a hospitality firm, on its plans to expand business in Europe. Prior to this, she held senior roles at Sonder where she was managing director of real estate for EMEA and general manager for UK and Ireland.
Ankit Tandon, global chief operating officer at PRISM, said: “Lia brings a unique combination of hospitality operating experience, strategic leadership and real estate execution capability. Her experience scaling hospitality platforms across Europe will be instrumental as we continue expanding our upscale aparthotel and hotel business.”
