Finland: Ruby Group has signed an 84-room hotel in Helsinki, set to open in Q1 2028 and marking the brand’s first property in Finland.
The upcoming Ruby hotel, located at Lapinlahdenkatu 3 in the Kamppi district, will occupy the historic Professor House known locally as “Proffa”. The building has served as an office for many years.
Now, it will be converted to accommodate 84 hotel rooms, alongside a 24-hour bar and café. The ground floor will be shared with long-term operators of a pub and restaurant.

Union Investment, Ruby’s partner on the project, also serves as the group’s landlord in Düsseldorf.
