US: Caesars Entertainment is to transform Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall in to a boutique hotel.

Caesars has secured a $185 million line of credit which will be used to rebuild the Las VegasStrip property. It will close in February 2013 and reopen as a boutique hotel under a new name in early 2014.

Guestrooms and the casino floor will be remodelled, and a second-floor restaurant and 65,000-square-foot nightclub and rooftop pool, managed by Drai Management Group, will be added.

The property originally opened as the Barbary Coast Hotel & Casino, a 200-room property, in 1979. It was renamed Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall in 2007 after Caesars acquired the hotel from Boyd Gaming.
