UK: Business property adviser Christie & Co is marketing the purpose-built Duke Street Boutique Hotel in Liverpool for more than £2 million.

The limited-service hotel fronts onto Duke Street, located near Chinatown in the city centre. It features 30 bedrooms, three of which have access to a courtyard area.

Having ceased trading last year, the property is being offered with vacant possession on the instruction of the joint administrators. The hotel freehold is on the market at an asking price of £2,250,000.

Tom O’Malley, associate director at Christie & Co, said: “Given its location within Liverpool city centre, and the appetite for limited-service hotels, we expect strong demand for this hotel.”

Duke Street Boutique Hotel opened in 2021 part of Town Hotels, the hospitality division of Liverpool-based property development company Living Brick.

The 52-room Baltic Hotel, which opened two months after the Duke Street site, has recently been taken over by management company Countrywide Hotels.
