US: First Hospitality has appointed David Lang as regional vice president of operations for its full-service and lifestyle hotels.
Lang has more than 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and will support the general managers of the hotel properties and teams within the company to oversee operations on the company’s properties. His job will include working with the brand standards and the day to day hotel performance.
Dave Montrose, chief operating officer of First Hospitality, said: “His experience across hotel openings, brand repositionings, and developing dynamic restaurant and bar environments will play a key role in advancing our company’s growth strategy.”
Prior to joining First Hospitality, Lang served as vice president of operations at hospitality management and development firm New Waterloo. He also served as general manager of The LINE Austin, operated by Sydell Group.
Earlier in his career, Lang held leadership positions with Sydell Group, SBE Hotel Group and OLS Hotels & Resorts, working across hotel operations, development and asset management.
First Hospitality is a hotel development, investment and third party management company. The company operates independently and branded hotel properties, restaurants and bars in the United States.
