Greece: Located in Agia Pelagia, Crete, the luxury ACRO Suites hotel will open next month.
ACRO Suites is a new wellbeing resort situated nearby the cliffside of Mononaftis Bay in Crete, Greece.
The hotel has 29 Wave Suites with private pools, 11 Loft Suites with private infinity pools, seven Cave Suites with private pools, the Sunset Villa with a private pool, as well as the Acroterra two-bedroom villa with an infinity pool.
Amenities include the Cremnos Restaurant & Nurture House which offers a healthy and nutritional menu. The dishes are made using fresh, hand-picked ingredients from local farms located on the island.
Executive chef, Yannis Rokanas, said: “Building a strong team with people who share the same philosophy as me, has contributed to constantly try new things, create new recipes, and explore the deep Greek culinary history. By combining traditional recipes with new ideas and techniques we bring something new to the table. I am truly devoted to local, seasonal produce and collaborating with Cretan farmers and grocers.
“My ethos is respecting the ingredients, minimising food waste, focusing on flavour and never be afraid of experimenting. The dinner table is the place we come together by sharing a delicious meal and create memories A few words that perfectly depict my relationship with cooking is taste, teamwork, respect and devotion.”
Spa treatments are offered to guests at the Bath House, which features cold-water pools, rain showers, massages, facial treatments and more. Daily yoga and meditation classes are also available.
