Barons Eden completes £14m refurb of Hoar Cross Hall

UK: Luxury hotel and spa group Barons Eden will reopen its Staffordshire property Hoar Cross Hall from 12 April 2021, following the group’s largest refurb investment in excess of £14 million.

The multi-million overhaul has spanned two years, with each of the 97 bedrooms, full-service spa and communal areas receiving an upgrade.

In addition, the hotel and spa now features free sanding baths in a selection of bedrooms, with some featuring hot tubs on private exterior terraces. It’s the most extensive refurbishment in the history of Barons Eden.

New for 2021, a Royal Suite Experience offers guests a private butler, cocktails served by a personal barman, and an overnight stay for between one and eight guests. Full use of the hotel’s facilities is also included, such as fine dining in the Grand Ballroom and access to the spa.

Barons Eden director, Edward Law, said: “This is a significant investment for the Barons Eden group, as we wanted to ensure Hoar Cross Hall, as one of the biggest spa resorts in Europe, both met and exceeded expectations.

“We are expecting a huge surge in demand following a period of such uncertainty, and are already seeing an increase in bookings for the summer months and beyond. We know our guests are looking to treat themselves to an indulgent experience closer to home, as well as continue to focus on their health and wellbeing.”

Hoar Cross Hall sits on 43 acres grounds, woodland and kitchen gardens. These areas were also included in the refurbishment.
