UK: After an 18-month closure to complete a £100 million renovation, The Carlton Tower Jumeirah will open on June 1 2021 in Knightsbridge, London.

The 17-story hotel includes a redesigned foyer and reception, 186 renovated bedrooms and suites, a three-story redesigned health club and spa, a pool, lobby bar and lounge, as well as ballrooms and meeting rooms. It overlooks Sloane Street and a variety of London landmarks.

The hotel pool is the largest in London, and lined with cabanas. The Peak Fitness Club & Spa offers studio classes and has Technogym equipment.

There is also a main restaurant, Al Mare, available for guests. Marco Calenzo, an Italian native, will lead the Al Mare kitchen team.

Originally designed by Henry End, the renovation was overseen by 1508 London – an interior and architecture design studio.

Aaron Kaupp, general manager of The Carlton Tower Jumeirah said: “We are thrilled to welcome back our valued guests following a significant investment and a complete renovation of the hotel. This landmark, international opening is set against the backdrop of a pandemic, which has seen the world and our beloved industry face extreme difficulty.
