The Hoxton opens in Rome, Parioli

The Hoxton Rome

Lobby at The Hoxton Rome

Italy: The Hoxton has opened its first hotel in Italy, making it the tenth hotel for the brand.

The 192-room property was transformed from a ‘70s building to a Hoxton hotel by Ennismore Design Studio, collaborating with Fettle Design.

The seven-story hotel includes a café that transforms into a bar, Cugino, an outdoor terrace, a meeting and events space, as well as a second restaurant opening this autumn. Guests are able to check in and out at any time of the day.

Cugino is a farm-to-table café and bar. It operates in collaboration with local restaurant and micro-bakery Marigold. At night, Cugino transforms into a late-night cocktail spot.

L’Appartamento, a meeting and events space, includes five rooms that vary in size.

To help those that have struggled with the lockdowns, The Hoxton Rome will launch the ‘Neighbourhood Nights’ initiative. This offers Roman residents the opportunity to stay at the hotel for €50 a night. The money raised will go to Binario 95, a local shelter for the homeless. This initiative will only run between 13-15 of June.

The Hoxton has 10 hotels across Europe and North America. Located in London, Paris, Amsterdam, New York, Portland, Chicago, and LA.

Ennismore was founded in 2011 by Sharan Pasricha. The company develops, operates, and curates hospitality properties around the world.

Late in 2020, Ennismore announced a merger with Accor to form a new lifestyle entity headquartered in London.
