Cormorant Boutique Hotel opens in San Diego

US: Following a refurbishment and rebranding, the 26-room Cormorant Boutique Hotel has opened in the seaside town of La Jolla.

San Diego-based Oceanic Enterprises acquired the property in 2016. Greenwood & Black have overseen the building’s renovations.

Cormorant Boutique Hotel now features 26 guest rooms, 22 of which have private balconies. Each room comes with custom built furniture, luxury mattresses, Nespresso machines, digital room service, and keyless entry.

Guests will also receive a complimentary gym pass to Life Time La Jolla, located one block away.

The hotel offers a rooftop bar and lounge, Birdseye, led by chef Luciano Scagliarini. The venue will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. A grab-and-go concept, Prospect Market, will offer juices and snacks.

“We are excited to welcome guests to San Diego’s newest boutique hotel,” said general manager David Vecchione. “Our hotel offers effortless elegance with comforts and activities of the barefoot-chic San Diego lifestyle and will serve as a relaxing escape for out-of-town guests and locals alike.”

Oceanic Enterprises is a private property management firm based in San Diego, California. The group’s portfolio includes hotels, restaurants, and bars located across the western US.
