US / Mexico: Dream Hotel Group has signed a deal to operate three new properties in Tulum, Mexico, as part of a new partnership with real estate development group Los Amigos.
The properties will be integrated into the company’s newly-founded By Dream Hotel Group lifestyle brand, a curated collection of independent hotels in the U.S. and Mexico.
The three new locations—one a beachfront hotel and two condo-hotels—will be re-branded as Central Park Lagunas by Dream Hotel Group Tulum, Central Park Rios by Dream Hotel Group Tulum and The Beach Club by Dream Hotel Group Tulum respectively.
Los Amigos, based in Tulum, puts a strong emphasis on sustainability by incorporating renewable energy into its projects and embracing new technologies, for example creating what it calls “the first electrical passenger drone in Mexico”.
It marks a landmark achievement for Dream Hotel Group, with the company now operating eight hotels in Mexico and present in five locations in the Riviera Maya. The Mexico-based properties already operated by the group include The Chatwal San Miguel de Allende, The Chatwal Valle de Guadalupe, Dream Valle de Guadalupe and Emma & Elissa by Dream Hotel Group in Playa del Carmen.
- Central Park Lagunas is set to be the first new opening by Dream Hotel Group Tulum in winter 2020. It will hold 177 rooms, as well as a pool deck, restaurant, fitness centre and spa.
- The Beach Club by Dream Hotel Group Tulum is then scheduled to open in spring 2021. It will hold 20 new guest rooms, a restaurant, outdoor lounge, mixology bar and a wellness bar with massage tables, yoga and dedicated meditation space.
- Finally, Central Park Rios by Dream Hotel Group Tulum is projected to open its doors in winter 2022 with 120 keys, a restaurant, multiple fitness areas, lobby lounge and pool deck.
By Dream Hotel Group plans to expand into more destinations and announce further locations around the world in the coming months.
