UK: The Rabbit Hotel & Retreat, located in the village of Templepatrick in County Antrim, has opened its doors as the fifth hospitality project in the Galgorm Collection.
Following a £10 million investment and refurbishment of the former Templeton Hotel, The Rabbit Hotel & Retreat features 33 bedrooms in four different room types: Luxe, Comfy, Snug and Attic. Each come equipped with a Nespresso machine, a Dyson hairdryer, GHD’s and a Marshall amp.
At The Relaxation Burrow, the property’s spa, there’s seven treatment rooms, a Swedish sauna, aroma steam room, and a Salt Chamber. Outside, guests can find Roman Baths, lakeside loungers and cabanas, as well as a man-made spa beach with heated sand and a bar.
The Rabbit Restaurant & Hunters Bar seats up to 180 guests and comprises an outdoor terrace for alfresco dining. Led by head chef Damian Blaney, menus will feature local produce with seasonal dishes.
In the Hunters Bar, light entertainment will be provided for Friday and Saturday nights.
Event spaces at The Rabbit include The Loft – an exclusive-use wedding venue for up to 140 friends and family. Communal spaces for workers and hot deskers, as well as private rooms which can accommodate from 15 to 150 guests, is also available.
