UK: Bespoke Hotels has announced that Hotel Brooklyn, Leicester, will open in June 2022.

Located adjacent to the Welford Road Stadium, interiors at the 191-room have been overseen by SquidInc with features designed by Motionspot.

It will feature a number of skyline suites, rooms with hot-tub terraces, executive suites with free-standing baths, and dog-friendly rooms.

It will also feature 10 fully-accessible and six ambulant-accessible bedrooms complete with en-suite bathrooms with grab rails and shower seats. All accessible rooms will come with adjoining rooms for carers if needed.

The Atrium is a multi-functional area serving as the reception area as well as hosting the ‘Pop Up Runyons’ bar.

Three additional flexible meeting rooms come equipped with audio-visual equipment and lighting.

Paul Bayliss, regional general manager of the Hotel Brooklyn brand at Bespoke Hotels, said: “The opening of Hotel Brooklyn, Leicester is probably more exciting than opening our first hotel in Manchester. The hotel has all of what the Brooklyn brand stands for, plus a magnificent array of public spaces. I’m certain Leicester will be very pleased indeed.”

Bespoke Hotels will manage the property. They group represents over 200 properties worldwide ranging from golfing hotels to spa resorts and urban hotels.

SquidInc is an interior design firm, focussing on hotels, restaurants and clubs. Motionspot is an accessible design company and has worked across offices, retirement developments, hotels and leisure facilities worldwide.

Hotel Brooklyn in Manchester has recently been sold for £24 million to CDL HREIT Investments.
