SA: Southern Spoor Marketing, a hospitality representation company in Africa, has announced the latest addition to its portfolio of privately owned hotels and lodges.
Located in Pretoria East, Ivory Manor is a five-star boutique hotel with nine individually decorated rooms.
Amenities at the property include a restaurant, two lounges, a whiskey and cigar lounge, billiard room, swimming pool, a wine cellar, five fully equipped conference venues, and landscaped gardens.
Anita Foxcroft, owner of Southern Spoor Marketing, said: “Ivory Manor Boutique Hotel fits the bill perfectly. Its sophisticated decor and setting make it a popular destination for luxury escapes, romantic getaways and special occasions and events, and with five luxuriously decorated, air-conditioned conference venues and breakaway rooms, it is also an excellent venue for high-end conferencing for up to 120 delegates.”
“We are delighted to welcome Ivory Manor Boutique Hotel to our portfolio and look forward to introducing it to the trade,” she added.
In 2019, Southern Spoor Marketing celebrated 20 years in hospitality. The company specialises in sales and marketing related services for the tourism and hospitality industry.
Launching this year is the Southern Spoor Select, a range of ad hoc marketing services available to privately owned boutique properties.
Southern Spoor Supports is another new initiative aimed at supporting a young woman in developing her career in hospitality through an annual bursary. Nineteen-year-old Dominique Brown has been selected as the first candidate, who is currently enrolled at the University of Johannesburg on a food and beverage operations diploma.
