Denmark: Brøchner Hotels will open Hotel Herman K, a five-star boutique hotel in central Copenhagen, in June.
The converted transformer station from 1963 has 31 rooms and suites, including a Duplex Suites and a Penthouse Suite with a 40 square metre private roof terrace.
The hotel has engaged in a partnership with the chef and team behind two-Michelin starred restaurant Kadeau for its F&B offer.
Lise Egenius, former hotel manager at Brøchner Hotels’ award-winning boutique hotel Hotel SP34, has been appointed hotel manager at Hotel Herman K. “Today luxury is individual. It is about originality, creating unique experiences and something unexpected. Therefore, at Hotel Herman K, we have redefined luxury, which includes the surroundings, the atmosphere and the service, focusing on the guest, providing a conceptual and unique hotel experience,” she said.
In 2019, Brøchner Hotels will open Hotel Ottilia opens in the Carlsberg City District. A boutique hotel in the iconic Carlsberg brewery buildings, it will feature 156 rooms, a restaurant, bars, spa, conference facilities and rooftop terrace. Also in 2019 the company will open its first boutique hostel outside of Copenhagen, in Aarhus.
Brøchner Hotels CEO Karim Nielsen will be taking part in a debate about the sharing economy at the 2018 Boutique and Lifestyle Hotel Summit in London.
