UK: Merry Harriers, Surrey has undergone a refurbishment
Peter de Savary’s Merry Harriers, Surrey has announced the completion of an extensive refurbishment.
The 16th century pub set in the picturesque village of Hambledon in the Surrey Hills now includes the addition of four new ensuite bedrooms. The refurbishment also involved redecoration of the pub, restaurant and private dining areas.
The guestrooms offer attractive and comfortable accommodation with views of the Surrey Hills. There are three existing ensuite bedrooms in a converted barn in the gardens.
The property is owned by Peter de Savary and run by husband and wife team, Sam and Danielle Montgomery-Page.
The restaurant’s menu has been designed by Sam Montgomery-Page to offer freshly cooked traditional pub staples using locally-sourced ingredients. Seasonal specialities are a highlight, including curerent favourite wild mushroom and Hambledon nettle risotto.
