Russia: The Moss Boutique Hotel on Krivokolenny Lane in the historic centre of Moscow has opened its doors.
The property has 30 rooms, “each one encompassing the harmony of minimalist modern design, bright textures and an eco-philosophy”. Only natural materials are used in the decor of the hotel, including wood, stone and iron. The project was implemented by the Adwill Architects company (with Bela Badmazhapova as lead architect) in collaboration with Natalia Belonogova (NB STUDIO).
During a recent official opening ceremony Mikhail Andreev – founder and the creator of the hotel – shared with guests the philosophy behind the hotel and alongside marketing director Ira Shapiro announced the plan to turn Moss into a national brand. The company is currently developing its own perfume in collaboration with the Israeli perfumery Zielinski & Rozen and has also released a CD and created a jewellery line.
