UK: The Fish Hotel on the Farncombe Estate in the Cotswolds will close for nearly three months for a £4 million redevelopment.
Farncombe Estate ommercial director Chris Ward said the property, which opened in 2015, will get a new restaurant, bedroom upgrades and new facilities including a small cinema, outdoor woodland children’ play area and a dog agility course.
The 68-bedroom hotel will close at the end of this year and reopen on March 6. A seafood restaurant, called Hook, will be opened by culinary director Martin Burge, who joined the estate in May this year.
Three treehouses, five hideaway huts and 10 new bedrooms in the coach house will be added to the property’s accommodation offer. “2018 is set to be a very exciting year at the Farncombe Estate,” said Ward.
The Fish Hotel is one of three hotels on the Farncombe Estate, Dormy House and Foxhill Manor being the others.
