Pan Pacific debuts in Europe

Pan Pacific London executive room

UK: Pan Pacific London has officially opened its doors, marking the brand’s first hotel in Europe.

The 237 room property, located at One Bishopsgate Plaza, has been designed by Yabu Pushelberg.

Rooms and suites come with a hot and cold minibar, a curated library of books, yoga mats and on-demand virtual yoga sessions. A ChiliSleep Ooler Sleep Cooling System, designed to aid a better sleep via temperature regulation, is available upon request.

Located on the nineteenth floor, the signature Pan Pacific Suite provides views of The Gherkin.

Five food and beverage venues will be led by executive chef Lorraine Sinclair and executive pastry chef Cherish Finden. The team are working closely with British producers, Nurtured in Norfolk, to grow Asian ingredients.

The menu at Straits Kitchen, the hotel’s main restaurant, has been created by Sinclair and the group’s executive chef Tony Khoo. Here, floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of London and two private dining spaces are available, seating up to 12 and 14 people.

The Orchid Lounge will serve afternoon tea and Ginger Lily houses over 200 champagnes and 150 rums.

Event space at Pan Pacific London includes a ballroom accommodating up to 400 guests, an Event Emporium, as well as nine flexible meeting venues. The ballroom can be accessed directly outside via a glass elevator from Bishopsgate Plaza, as well as through the hotel.

Other amenities include an entire floor dedicated to holistic wellness. It features an infinity pool, TecnoBody gym equipment, aqua fitness sessions, mindful workshops, spa treatments and more. Guests have the option of choosing in-room wellbeing experiences as part of the programming.

Bishopsgate Plaza includes the 43-storey Pan Pacific London and private Sky Residence apartments as well as Devonshire House – a 144-year-old building with designer shops, a destination restaurant and cocktail bar designed by Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio.

Pan Pacific Hotels Group owns and/or manages more than 50 hotels, resorts and serviced suites, including those under development in 31 cities across Asia, North America and Europe.
