Japan: The luxury mountain resort will be the third Park Hyatt hotel in Japan, and will open its doors on January 20, 2020.
Owned by Pacific Century Premium Developments Limited, the resort is situated in Niseko with views across the Annupuri ranges and Mount Yotei.
Designed by Melbourne’s BAR studio in collaboration with Nikken Sekkei and Fujita Corporation, the interior reflects the surrounding wilderness.
The hotel’s 100 guest rooms – including nine suites with private semi-outdoor onsen baths – each feature a master bedroom, a separate living room with sofa bed, a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom.
Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing views of the mountain ranges, all housed in four separate buildings with ski-in and ski-out convenience connected at arrival level.
General manager, Stefan Bollhalder, commented: “Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono celebrates personal luxury, ensuring our guests are completely immersed in the highest levels of service excellence that we strive for. We are very grateful to have the opportunity to introduce Park Hyatt’s passion, and offer the best of Hokkaido to guests from around the world.”
The hotel’s six restaurants serve Italian, Chinese, robatayaki, teppanyaki, sushi, and French cuisine of Michelin-starred chefs. Additional private dining rooms, bars, lounges and wine cellars are also available to guests.
A Signature Spa will offer a range of body and facial treatments, including a 25-meter pool, hot spring onsen baths and a Health Club, all under the care of staff at Park Hyatt.
An outdoor chapel, located at the edge of Mount Annupuri, is also available for wedding ceremonies.
Reservations for stays on January 20th, 2020 and onwards can be made through the hotel’s official website.
