US: Pendry Hotels & Resorts will open The Elwood Club this summer, located within a private wing of Pendry Newport Beach.
The Elwood Club will feature a private restaurant and bar with garden terrace, a cabaret and bar, a pub with a golf simulator and screening room, and a boardroom.
Members will receive discounts to the full suite of amenities and services at Pendry Newport Beach, including the resort’s swimming pool and sun deck, spa, fitness centre, kids club, event lawns, restaurants and bars.
“We created The Elwood Club to further connect with and enhance the lives of our best guests, the locals who give life and energy to our Pendry hotels,” said Michael Fuerstman, co-founder of Pendry Hotels & Resorts. “We want to build a membership and a lifestyle beyond what’s possible at a standard private club, to imagine a world of hospitality and cherished spaces to entertain, unwind, and connect from day to evening, in a way that is deeper and more personal.
“While The Elwood Club will feature high design spaces and exciting and innovative programming, we are most excited about building community, connecting people, and adding value to our members’ lives,” he added.
Pendry Newport Beach was purchased by an affiliate of Eagle Four Partners LLC in February 2022. The hotel features 295 guest rooms including 114 suites.
