Pontiac Land announces launch of Fari Islands

Maldives: Singapore-based real estate developer, Pontiac Land, has announced the opening of Fari Islands in Q4 of 2020.

Located in the North Malé Atoll, the archipelago features three hotels operated by Capella Hotels & Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, and Patina Hotels & Resorts.

Each hotel has been designed by architects Studio Mk27, Kengo Kuma & Associates, and Kerry Hill Architects.

Fari Marina, built around a Beach Club, will feature boutique outlets and a selection of upscale food and beverage options.

Creative collaborations with names in art, music, culinary arts, photography, fashion and design will provide guests with a cultural programme that showcases Maldives’ natural beauty.

A purpose-built Fari Village is dedicated to employees, helping to develop the next generation of Maldives’ hoteliers. Employees can expect full range of recreational facilities and amenities, training opportunities, and an active social calendar.

Pontiac Land’s portfolio of developments span Singapore, New York, Sydney and the Maldives. With over fifty years of experience in luxury property development, each project is complemented with exclusively commissioned art.

The Capella Hotels & Resorts portfolio consists of properties in Düsseldorf, Sanya, Shanghai, Singapore, and Ubud, with hotels in Bangkok, the Maldives, and Sydney set to open in the near future.

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, part of Marriott International, currently operates more than 100 hotels in 30 countries. The Ritz-Carlton participates in Marriott Bonvoy – the new name of Marriott’s travel programme that replaces Marriott Rewards, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards, and Starwood Preferred Guest.

Patina Hotels & Resorts is the latest concept from Capella Hotel Group. Patina appeals to the new generation of travellers who seek meaningful connections with themselves and the world around them, with a focus on human-centred design.
