Registry Collection Hotels launches in Georgia

The ART Tbilisi, a Registry Collection Hotel

Georgia: Wyndham Hotels & Resorts’ latest brand, Registry Collection Hotels, has signed its first hotel in Georgia located in the heart of Tbilisi.

Named the ART Tbilis, a Registry Collection Hotel, the 100-room newly-built property is expected to open in early 2023.

It will feature a range of guest rooms, suites, deluxe and executive accommodation options, a restaurant and rooftop wine bar with access to a garden, as well as a fitness centre and wellness area with thermal bathhouse and sauna.

The property will join the Grand Residences Riviera Cancun – the first luxury resort under Registry.

Dimitris Manikis, president for Europe, Middle East, Eurasia and Africa (EMEA) at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, said: “Our newest brand is the perfect option for independent luxury hotel owners who want to maintain their independent spirit while tapping into the global scale, capability and loyalty of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, which is even more relevant as the industry recovers from the challenges of the global pandemic. We are incredibly proud to introduce our Registry Collection Hotels brand and this spectacular property to Georgia, a stunning destination that has become hugely popular thanks to its charming architecture, rich culture, delectable cuisine, and many historic sites.”

Wyndham already has a strong portfolio in Georgia. Properties include Wyndham Grand Tbilisi, Wyndham Batumi, Ramada by Wyndham Tbilisi Old City, Ramada Encore Tbilisi, in addition to 11 hotels in the development pipeline.
