Scotland: East Haugh House in Pitlochry, Perthshire, has been put up for sale for the first time in 30 years.
Recently awarded Scotland’s Hotel of the Year 2019 for the second year running, the boutique hotel originally formed part of the Atholl Estate.
The owners – whose accommodation is set within the grounds and covers over an acre – converted the house into a hotel in 1989, but are now looking towards retirement.
Stuart Drysdale, director at Christie & Co’s Edinburgh office, is handling the sale: “The hotel has been extremely profitable for the current owners and there is no reason that an experienced operator would not be able to enjoy similar levels of business, given the excellent standard of accommodation and serviced provided.”
East Haugh House has 12 individually designed rooms, all of which have recently been upgraded. Its restaurant is also recommended in the Michelin Guide.
The freehold interest for the four-star hotel is on market at offers over £1,600,000.
