Spain: The 35-bedroom independent hotel Teranka, overlooking Migjorn beach on the island of Formentera, is set to open in August 2022.
Managed by Luxury Hotel Partners, the hotel will offer three dining experiences including a Michelin-starred executive chef a Nobu pop-up on the rooftop.
Vert Mer will serve an all-day menu from Andalusian chef Juan Martín. In the evening, three Michelin-starred chef Emmanual Renaut will transform the restaurant into a French fine dining experience.
Additionally, a summer pop-up Nobu Formentera will open on Teranka’s rooftop.
The 35 bedrooms are split amongst three low level buildings: Mar, Tierra and Cielo. Mar rooms (with a choice of five room types) are located around the pool area and come with private terraces. Tierra rooms (with a choice of four room types) offer private terrace gardens. Cielo rooms (with a choice of two room types) come with a separate living area, kitchenette and terraces.
Other amenities at the hotel include an outdoor pool, two treatment rooms, beach access, a yoga and meditation terrace, and a sculpture garden.
Throughout the property, a private contemporary art collection will be featured along the walls and within the sculpture park. Annual exhibitions and talks curated by art lawyer and historian Dalila Amor will take place at the hotel.
