UK: The Torridon, a luxury hotel in northern Scotland, has added Chestnut Cottage to its accommodation offering.
Chestnut Cottage is a private, 41-square-metre building located on The Torridon estate close to the hotel.
It offers an outdoor bath-tub and wood burner as well as private access to Loch Torridon.
The refurbished property also features wallpaper by British interior designer GP&J Baker and a bespoke-made wardrobe by Scottish craftsman Danny Rusling.
Rohaise Rose-Bristow, co-owner of The Torridon, said: “We wanted to create a space where guests feel inspired by the luxury touches, but comfortable enough to kick off your muddy boots. It’s the perfect spot for guests to escape and to switch off from the world for a while, to recharge and leave feeling a little bit happier.”
The Torridon estate also features a restaurant, whisky bar and 58 acres of private parkland for activities such as loch snorkelling, kayaking, hiking and clay pigeon shooting.
Additional accommodation includes 18 hotel rooms and suites, a further 12 in the stables, alongside the private Boathouse.
Rates for Chestnut Cottage begin at £635.
