The Torridon partners with Porsche Aberdeen

UK: Five-star The Torridon has partnered with Porsche Centre Aberdeen to offer guests the opportunity to explore the North-West Highlands of Scotland.

From 1 June 2022, Torridon guests can drive a Porsche Taycan 4S electric sports car. Drivers have a choice of destination or they can follow suggested routes created by the hotel.

The partnership builds on The Torridon’s commitment to sustainability. Initiatives include recycling and composting waste to reduce carbon footprint, the use of renewable energy, and eliminating single-use plastics. Electric charging pants are also available.

Owner Dan Rose-Bristow said: “Working with Porsche and Peter Vardy to be able to offer this amazing experience to our guests is the next step in The Torridon’s journey. Sustainability is at the heart of every decision that we make, so it was crucial for us in offering a new driving experience for our guests that we were also able to minimise the environmental impact. The Porsche Taycan experience allows us to do this whilst still offering the opportunity to explore the Highlands in a luxurious, exciting performance vehicle.”

Tom Hail, franchise director at Porsche Centre Aberdeen, said: “We are delighted to be working with The Torridon to allow their guests to experience the next generation of performance motoring in the stunning north west Highlands. This partnership will allow drivers to experience all that the Taycan 4S can offer and enjoy an electric sports car experience in a stunning location.”

The Porsche Taycan 4S electric sports car will be available for residents at The Torridon resort to hire for £400 per day.
