UK: Colliers Hotels Capital Markets is selling the 201-bed lifestyle hotel voco St John’s Solihull at a guide price of £25 million.
The hotel, which is being sold freehold and available unencumbered from management, has recently undergone a refurbishment and branding. It is being sold on behalf of CL Capital Global.
The three-storey property features a health and leisure club with gym, pool and spa facilities. The 120-cover Brasserie Six5One runs alongside the 30-cover bar.
For conference and business use, the hotel has 13 meeting rooms including the Park Suite which can accommodate up to 700 people. Voco St. John’s Solihull is also licensed to host civil wedding and civil partnership ceremonies.
Kit Abram, associate director in the hotel capital markets team at Colliers, said: “The voco St John’s hotel presents a fantastic prospect for an investor; whilst it has been recently refurbished there are also significant asset management opportunities.
“This includes making the building more energy efficient or a re-instatement of the previous planning permission to add an additional 88 bedrooms. We expect there to be a high-level interest in the hotel, with it offering RevPAR growth opportunities when compared to its local competition.”
