US: Walker Hotels, with properties in Greenwich Village and Tribeca in New York, will launch a pop-up tattoo studio in partnership with artist Mike Suarez, with all proceeds donated to New Yorkers for Children.
Kicking off on Friday 7 May, celebrity tattoo artist Mike Suarez will take appointments at the Walker Hotel Tribeca through to Sunday 9 May. He has previously tattooed football player Dio Dawkins of the Buffalo Bills; Grammy-winning music producer Cash Like Diego; and model and actress Renata Besciani.
The studio is launching in celebration of Mother’s Day (Sunday 9 May) with all proceeds benefiting New Yorkers for Children, a non-profit charity that supports the city’s youth. Permanent tattoos will cost $150 and semi-permanent tattoos $25, available at both Walker Hotel Tribeca and Walker Hotel Greenwich Village.
Both hotels will also be offering two packages throughout May: one fitness oriented, the other involving art.
The BMFIT package (from 7-14th May) includes a workout class with Starr Hawkins, also known as Baby Momma Fit, along with a healthy breakfast and CBD gummies post-workout, as well as a complimentary temporary tattoo.
The ART MAMAs package includes a self-guided gallery tour in the local neighbourhood, room service for two with a bottle of champagne, and a copy of the book Untamed by Glennon Doyle which promotes female empowerment.
