UK: Five-star The Dilly in London’s West End has announced it will accommodate weddings, introducing two curated packages.
The Dilly, formerly Le Méridien Piccadilly, is an independent hotel that first opened in 1908. Comprising 283 rooms, it features two food and beverage venues, a health club and spa, a dedicated dance studio, florist lobby shop and seven meeting rooms.
As part of the wedding offer, couples can learn their first dance in the property’s ‘Inspiration 2 Dance’ studio, with lessons offered by current and former world class competitors.
A dedicated wedding planning team will be on hand to oversee details such as menu tasting and entertainment. Local suppliers include florists Pulbrook and Gould, and couples can take advantage of private catering options with bespoke menus or alternatively a dry-hire option.
The hotel is fully licensed for ceremonies with capacity for up to 200 guests, with an entire floor of the property bookable for the day. The Georgian and Adams suites have availability for 2021 and the Oak Room will be able to book for weddings from 2022.
For smaller gatherings, the Scarlet Wedding package caters to 30 people. Prices start from £150 per person including canapés, a four-course meal and drinks. For larger celebrations, the Crimson Wedding package is for a minimum of 30 guests and prices start from £95 per person.
