UK: The Max Hotel at the Royal York Buildings near Brighton’s seafront has been placed in administration.

Then, after a 70=year spell as local authority offices, it was converted back to hotel by The Imperial Property Company in 2006.

In 2011, the hotel’s food and beverage operation was taken over by Pure Pop Up Restaurants & Events, part of hospitality management company Evensus, according to Caterer.com.

RSM Tenon The hotel will remain open while administrator RSM Tenon conducts a full financial review and searches for a new owner.
