“Noble House is thrilled to join Curator,” said Jake Donoghue, CEO of Noble House Hotels & Resorts. “This has been a challenging period for hotel operators and owners, yet Curator has enabled us to enhance the operating performance of the independent lifestyle hotels and resorts that we manage. Our owners are pleased with the reduced expenses that Curator brings through its wide array of operating relationships. This allows our hotel teams to spend more time focused on growing revenue and gaining market share, which will be increasingly important as hotel demand improves following the pandemic.”

“Hotels that are typically considered competitors are coming together under Curator, something unprecedented in the industry,” said Jennifer Barnwell, President of Curator. “Under the Curator umbrella, independent hotels and resorts can optimise their performance and continue to do what they do best: offer amazing guest experiences that only they can provide. Ultimately, this collaboration is lifting the independent hotel industry. We are thrilled with Curator’s continued growth with the addition of these 13 Noble House hotels and resorts.”

Member hotels gain access to Curator’s operating agreements, services, and non-proprietary technology for cost-saving efficiencies. The aim is to allow owners and operators more time and resources to invest in their product and offering without having to manage and negative vendor relationship and contracts.

Curator Hotel & Resort Collection launched in November 2020. Commenting at the time, Jon Bortz founder and chairman said: “Curator is an owner-centric model, created by ownership groups and independent hotel managers and structured for the benefit of owners. Members will pay much less in fees to join, they’re not locked in with long-term contracts and they don’t have to conform to strict rating systems or brand standards, allowing them to retain their individuality.”

The group was founded by Pebblebrook Hotel Trust, a publicly traded real estate investment trust, along with six other hotel operators including Benchmark Global Hospitality, Davidson Hospitality Group, Noble House Hotels & Resorts, Provenance, Springboard Hospitality, and Viceroy Hotels & Resorts.

President of Curator Hotel & Resort Collection, Jennifer Barnwell, was recently named as one of BHN’s 12 inspirational women defining the future of hospitality. You can read more here
