Denihan’s The James hotel brand to make west coast debut

US: CIM Group and Denihan Hospitality Group have announced an agreement to bring The James hotel brand to the Los Angeles area.

The James Los Angeles, will be the first new-build hotel in West Hollywood in approximately 30 years, and will be located at the southeast corner of Sunset and La Cienega Boulevards.

The property will be comprised of two 10-storey towers with 286 rooms, two restaurants, rooftop and lobby bars and 10,000 square feet of meeting space. It is expected to open in 2016.

CIM Group is the owner and developer of the two-block Sunset La Cienega mixed-use development, and has chosen Denihan as its joint venture partner for the boutique hotel portion of the project.

Denihan operates properties under the James brand in Chicago, New York and Miami.
