US: The Kessler Collection is exploring the development of a Grand Bohemian Hotel next to the Carillon building in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The proposed property would feature a restaurant and art gallery fronting Trade Street, according to real estate records.
The Kessler Collection operates 10 boutique hotels, and is looking for opportunities to expand its grand Bohemian property. There is currently a Grand Bohemian Hotel in Asheville, the company broke ground last year on Grand Bohemians in Charleston, Mountain Brook and Birmingham, and is looking to bring the brand to Nashville.
In 2010, Kessler entered into a marketing partnership with Marriott to put most of its properties in Marriott’s Autograph Collection.
