Hotel Dryce

US: Tech-enabled hospitality company Life House has been selected to manage three independent hotels in Texas.

Hotel Dryce (Fort Worth) and The Flats at St. Mary (San Antonio) will now be operated by Life House, with a third hotel soon to be revealed.

Recently developed Hotel Dryce, located near Fort Worth’s cultural district, is owned by Jonathan Morris and Allen Mederos. The name of the property is inspired by the building’s former operation as a dry ice warehouse. It now features 21 keys and a lobby bar.

The Flats at St. Mary is a renovation of a historic building in San Antonia. The owners Frank and Shelly Markey, along with Craig Glendenning from Bright Lakes Real Estate, transformed the site into a high-end, 35-room hotel.

As a result of the new partnerships, Life House is targeting Texas as a strategic area of growth.

Life House lately added two hotels in California to its portfolio: the Hotel Royal in Long Beach and Hotel Rose in Sonoma County.

According to its website, Life House will open its first hotel outside of the US in Bali “soon”. Other signposted locations include Brooklyn, Miami Beach and Palm Springs. These properties fall under the group’s own branded hotels.
