UK: Jeremy Robson, the owner of London’s Great Northern Hotel, has departed the business.
Companies House documents show that Robson, who opened the 91-bedroom hotel next to King’s Cross station in 2013, terminated his position as a director in June, with his involvement in the business brought to an end in the same month.
Tyler Harvey Mingst and Simon Nicholas Finn were appointed as a “person with significant control” following the departure of Robson. Mingst and Finn are directors at investment firm, Intriva Capital Advisors LLP.
As a result of the change in ownership, Great Northern Hotel is now listed as being part of management company, Kew Green Hotels.
Chef Mark Sargeant, who headed up the hotel’s Plum + Spilt Milk restaurant, has also left the business.
Robson acquired the building in 2008 and invested ÂŁ42 million in the site before opening. In 2015, the hotel became the first UK property to join Starwood’s Tribute portfolio.
