St.James’s snaps up Forestdale portfolio from administration

UK: St. James’s Hotel Group has bought the 14 hotel portfolio of Forestdale Hotels, a subsidiary of Akkeron Hotels Group, out of administration for an undisclosed sum.

St. James’s, an affiliate of London-based Somerston Group, has not revealed whether it plans to rebrand or renovate the currently unbranded three-star properties.

The properties are located throughout England and are made up of:

The 73-room Arno’s Manor Hotel, located in Bristol, Avon
The 38-room Burley Manor Hotel, located in Ringwood, Hampshire
The 59-room Lyndhurst Park Hotel, located in Lyndhurst, Hampshire
The 33-room Norfolk Arms Hotel, located in Arundel, West Sussex
The 46-room Pratts Hotel, located in Bath, Avon
The 72-room Southampton Park Hotel, located in Southampton, Hampshire
The 109-room Wessex Hotel, located in Bournemouth, Dorset
The 39-room Stratton House Hotel, located in Cirencester, Gloucestershire
The 49-room The Roebuck Hotel, located in Ware, Hertfordhsire
The 30-room The Royal Cambridge Hotel, located in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
The 40-room Shillingford Bridge Hotel, located in Wallingford, Oxfordhsire
The 75-room Ardsley House Hotel, located in Barnsley, South Yorkshire
The 110-room Blackwell Grange Hotel, located Darlington, County Durham
The 81-room Winchester Royal Hotel, located in Winchester, Hampshire
