Austria: In partnership with Vienna Giant Ferris Wheel, Superbude have designed a hotel room for a guest to win a one night stay with a friend.
To celebrate the 125th anniversary of Vienna’s Ferris wheel, Wiener Riesenrad, Superbude have teamed up with the owners to create a one-off experience – transforming wagon number 28 into a hotel room.
As part of the international competition, the winner will be rewarded with a trip to Vienna for two people, from June 23-26 2022. The first night will be spent in Superbude’s Birdhouse, and the second night in the pop-up hotel room at the top of the Ferris wheel.
Winners will also receive a gala dinner at NENI at Prater, a three course dinner in the Vienna Giant Ferris Wheel wagon, and Austrian Airlines will take care of the flights.
Christian Lainer, co-founder of Superbude Vienna, said: “The pandemic has left many couples, friends and families divided for too long. With our pop up hotel in Vienna’s Giant Ferris Wheel we wanted to send a positive message to the world and all of those who have been separated for more than two years now. They deserve the chance to win a full weekend in Vienna, including flights and overnight stays in our Superbude Hotel as well as the world-famous Giant Ferris Wheel.”
Superbude’s “Room with a View” has been designed by Gerd Zehetner of Archiguards with the help of Laura Karasinski of Atelier Karasinski.
The bespoke bed can be flipped into benches which, alongside the vintage chairs and lamps, will later be moved to the Superbude lobby. Illustrations have been created by artist Julia Passlauer.
