UK: Sir Richard Sutton Limited group has introduced the Sutton Hotel Collection comprising Castle Hotel Windsor, Queens Hotel Cheltenham and Francis Hotel Bath.

The collection has been named after the late Sir Richard Sutton, who was killed at his home in Higher Langham last year.

Each of the three properties previously operated under Accor’s MGallery brand. The transition to the new collection is already underway and will continue over the next six months. Ownership of the hotels will not change during this period.

William Gibbs, hotels director at Sir Richard Sutton Limited, said: “Following the investment that we have made over the last year across all three hotels, we will continue to invest in all of our properties and hire the finest talent to help us build a Sutton Hotel Collection brand known for its quality of service and offering. We have exciting plans to deliver our vision for a perfect stay and look forward to bringing this vision alive in the coming months and years.”

Caroline Sutton, daughter of Sir Richard Sutton and ambassador of Sutton Hotel Collection, said: “Sutton Hotel Collection is a fitting name in memory of my father who built a company which prided itself on quality and the highest ethical standards.

“This is an exciting new era for our hotels; already each is at the heart of their destinations and loved by their local communities, but we are looking to make the overall experience so much more meaningful for our guests, our teams and our communities with our new brand.”
