UK: Family-owned hotel brand GuestHouse, spearheaded by three brothers, will launch this spring with the reopening of No 15 Great Pulteney Street in Bath following a renovation.

GuestHouse plans to remodel historic buildings throughout the United Kingdom in major cities.

Beginning with its first location in Bath, the group will follow with the remodelling of two heritage hotels in Brighton and York.

The brothers (Tristan, James and Tom) acquired No.15 Great Pulteney from Ian and Christa Taylor, owners of the Kaleidoscope Collection, in 2019.

Each renovated property will include a pantry kitchen, vinyl record players in rooms, as well as spa and wellness experiences.

The hotel’s restaurant will use locally-sourced produce with menus inspired by the memories of the Guest brothers’ own holidays in Great Britain.

As part of a guest’s stay, they will be offered ‘The Guest List’ – a handmade guide by the GuestHouse team to encourage exploration of local art galleries, food markets, bookshops, historical sites, and more.

Speaking about their vision for GuestHouse, the brothers explained: “[We aim to] create a hotel brand that has a special warmth and represents the best of British hospitality. The welcoming smile, passion for the local area and relaxed informality blended with a sense of creativity, indulgence and surprise. We hope to present an alternative to the typical British rural getaway and inspire people to fall in love with our thriving and beautiful historic cities whilst still enjoying the escape from the day-to-day. Each hotel will champion our group ethos yet celebrate connection with the local destination – be that in the food and drink, the interiors of the hotel or the advice that we can offer on the best local experiences!”
