By combining MapsPeople’s indoor navigation platform, MapsIndoors, with Virdee’s mobile reception app, guests can navigate a hotel including amenities, services, and book locations directly on a property map.
Guests can also access a visual overview of room options in the hotel, enabling them to pick a room that matches their preferences in size, location, and other add-ons.
The new features are available via the Virdee app.
In addition to the interactive mapping features, the Virdee Virtual Reception supports contactless check-in, allowing guests to check in either via mobile web, app, or kiosk. Customers will then receive a digital or physical key and can avoid queuing at reception.
