UK: Five-star The Grand, York has appointed Adam Dyke as its general manager.
Dyke brings more than 20 years of luxury hospitality experience to The Grand, York, having most recently served as group operations director at Luxury Family Hotels.
Prior to this, Dyke spent close to four years with Artfarm as operations director. He has also held a number of management positions at hotels including Chewton Glen, The Devonshire Arms, Bolton Abbey and Wynyard Hall Hotels.
Dyke said: “The Grand, York has a reputation for excellence in service and its dedication to creating memorable guest experiences. I’m thrilled to join the award-winning team. I look forward to building on the hotel’s remarkable legacy and leading it into an exciting future.
“Starting this new position at The Grand feels like coming home. Having lived in Yorkshire since I was 13, I haven’t worked in the county for some years now, and I can’t wait to meet the team, get back to my roots and the unique and fantastic Yorkshire hospitality scene,” he added.
The Grand, York features 207 bedrooms, two restaurants, a cookery school, and a spa. The hotel is part of Splendid Hospitality Group.
