UK: London boutique hotel teams up with The Riding Club London to offer guests equestrian packages.
The Stafford London by Kempinski has teamed up with The Riding Club London to offer guests bespoke equestrian services. Besides two set packages, which cover both basic and advanced riding needs, guests can also pick and choose from the Horcierge’s menu to meet their riding abilities and schedule.
Part of the hotel, the Carriage House, was originally built as stables to house the thoroughbreds of the areas’ nobility. As a testament to the building’s past, the ground floor rooms and suites retain their stable doors and bear the names of famous horses. All rooms overlook the 18th century stable yard.
Leon Baum, general manager of The Stafford, said: “The Carriage House was originally built to house the most remarkable thoroughbreds. Therefore, it is logical for us to offer equestrian packages. We are very fortunate to have won the Riding Club London as our partner for the ‘Horcierge’ services. Whilst we are experts at looking after our guests under our roof, we now feel confident that this experience will be matched perfectly when they are out and about on horseback.”
The two set packages on offer are:
The Equestrian Package
This package includes two nights’ accommodation in a Carriage House room and full English breakfast, either at The Lyttelton restaurant or in the guest’s room. After breakfast, the guests will be picked up and taken to Windsor Park where they will be met by the Riding Club London concierge and their horses for a two hour ride through the park.
The Black Caviar Package
This package includes three nights in a Carriage House room, breakfast and a 5-course dinner in The Lyttelton restaurant, prepared by executive head chef Brendan Fyldes. The package also includes a VIP tour of the British Military Stables, two hours escorted riding in Windsor Park and a master class in either polo, carriage driving or side saddle covering all varieties of riding activities. A shopping tour for riding wear and equipment with a specialised personal shopper will be arranged in Knightsbridge, Kensington and Mayfair.
The Stafford is also hosting a Boutique Hotel News networking event on April 8th. The event is themed around attracting the Russian guest. For more information and to book your place, click here.
