Vietnam: Anthony Gill has been appointed general manager at the Nam Hai resort in Hoi An.
He joins from his previous position as GM of La Residence Hotel & Spa in Hue, Vietnam. Prior to that, he has also worked at Life Heritage Resort, Hoi An, Vietnam; Intercontinental Hotel, Doha; Evason Ana Mandara & Six Senses Spa, Vietnam and One & Only Kanuhura, Lhaviyani in the Maldives.
The Nam Hai features 60 one-bedroom villas and 40 one-to-five bedroom pool villas, as well as a spa, fitness and yoga centre, two gourmet restaurants, an organic farm, cookery school, Kids’ Club and a Colin Montgomerie-designed 18 hole golf course.
Gill said: “The central coast of Vietnam is one of Southeast Asia’s most intriguing destinations, from its cultural assets to its beaches, from its cuisine to its golf and a plethora of other recreational opportunities. The Nam Hai, modelled as it is on the garden homes of Old Hue, is a transporting experience all its own.”
