Worldwide: Luxury operator Maybourne has appointed José Silva, former CEO of Jumeirah Group, as chairman. 

With more than four decades of experience spanning Europe, North America and the Middle East, Silva joins Maybourne from Jumeirah Group where he served as CEO for five years. 

Prior to Jumeirah, Silva spent almost 25 years with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, holding a series of senior leadership positions across the organisation, including regional vice president for Europe.
