UK: The Dakota Deluxe Leeds will be the focal point of Evans Property Group’s £25 million investment into rejuvenating the Bond Court area of Leeds city centre.
The 84-room boutique hotel is the fourth for the independently owned Dakota Group spearheaded by Ken McCulloch, who founded Malmaison Hotels, and delivered in partnership with Leeds-based Evans Property Group.
McCulloch said; “It is great being back in Leeds and it’s time that Leeds had a luxury hotel because the city deserves it. The majority of time spent working away from home is always grudged and so we wanted to create a very special experience.”
F&B options will include the Bar & Grill restaurant and Salon Privé cocktail bar.
Roderick Evans, managing director of Evans Property Group, said; “Having worked with Dakota for over a decade now, we have formed a strong relationship and we are incredibly excited to be launching this destination hotel in our home city.”
