UK: The 38-room Glenridding Hotel, close to Lake Ullswater within the Lake District, has been acquired by the Inn Collection Group for an undisclosed sum.
The hotel features a coffee shop, bar, restaurant and conference facilities, as well as a nine metre indoor swimming pool, sauna and games room. It will continue trading until a soft refurbishment and remodelling of the property will take place later in the year.
Former owner, Hassan Ali, had been operating the hotel since 2007. Graham + Sibbald handled the sale on behalf of Ali.

The acquisition of The Glenridding Hotel follows the group’s first expansion into Wales in December with the purchase of The Swallow Falls Hotel in the Snowdonia National Park.
