China: The five-star Karl Lagerfeld Macau hotel is slated to open in June this year, designed entirely by the late Karl Lagerfeld.
Owned by SJM Resorts S.A., The Karl Lagerfeld Macau is located at The Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau. The hotel features 271 rooms, the Mesa restaurant led by chef José Avillez, a book lounge, and a spa and wellness centre including indoor and outdoor pools.
Commissioned furnishings include sculptures by Dutch artist Marcel Wanders and French artist Jean-Michel Othoniel, as well as Terzani chandeliers.
Prior to his passing in 2019, Karl Lagerfeld worked in close partnership with SJM on the hotel design for years.
